There are no problems!

That's it!

.

That's it!
There are no problems as we used to think of them... Yet, there are tasks. Or goals... I'd love to emphasize that as soon as we switch the focus, from rather negative "problem" to a kind of positive "task/goal", the vision of the whole situation becomes not so horrible.

Somehow it resembles positive interpretation in Positive psychotherapy. But just somehow... Let me explain:
The positive interpretation is mainly used for lowering the emotional intensity & let the client breathe out (knowing that there is some positive moment in his situation).
But (!) the positive interpretation itself doesn't solve the problem. It just serves as a "bridge" for further therapeutic work.

I am sure that much more pragmatic is a transformation of the problem into a task.
Besides, if we have not "a problem that needs to be solved" but "a task that is to be done" - it's a huge motivator!

When an individual has "a problem", the corner-stone is to find someone to complain.
Having a very specific "task", an individual focuses on searching for the way of doing.  Thus, he or she doesn't have any time for complaining or whatever... time is spent wisely and productively.

That's why I love coaching approach - everything is clear and precise. If there is a task to be done, the main focus of the client and coach is aimed towards it.

By the way, at the very moment of applying for coaching, the client already has the solution! Deep inside he knows it well, what and how he should do. Even if he has not realised it yet...
